Syed Mahmud Ali Medical Center opened its doors in December 2022 with a mission to provide affordable, accessible, and quality medical services to the disadvantaged community of Osmaninagar, Sylhet and its surrounding areas. We understand that accessing healthcare can be challenging, especially in regions where resources are scarce. That's why we are committed to providing medical care to those in need, regardless of their financial condition.
Located along the Dhaka-Sylhet highway, our center is ideally situated to serve those who need us the most. We provide a wide range of medical services that include primary care visits, pediatric exams, women's health exams, specialty care, prescription medication, laboratory referrals, and health education.
Our team of doctors provides free consultations to all patients, ensuring that everyone has access to the care they need. Additionally, we provide free medication to those eligible for Zakat, ensuring that essential medication is not out of reach for those facing financial hardship.
Our doctors and medical staff have gone above and beyond to bring medical camps to poor, underserved communities located 10-15 miles away from the nearest medical clinic. We provide an average of 3-4 camps a month and are able to serve over 100 patients per camp. These medical camps are very important for the communities they serve because access to healthcare is often limited and there are significant differences in health outcomes compared to more privileged areas. We remain committed to continuing these efforts and expanding our reach to more communities in need.
