Bangladesh is one of the most vulnerable countries in the world to natural disasters, especially flooding. In 2022, the country experienced one of the worst floods in the last 150 years, affecting millions of people and leaving many without shelter. Sylhet was one of the districts that were hit hardest, with many homes destroyed and families left homeless. In response to this devastating event, ALHERA and its partners collaborated to rebuild houses for those who could not afford to do so on their own.

Together, we were able to provide shelter for over 20 disaster-stricken families in Sylhet by supplying aluminum roofing and side panels. The materials used increase the structural rigidity of the homes, making them more resilient to future natural disasters. Our goal is to help families rebuild their lives and to ensure they are better prepared for any future natural disasters that may occur. We are committed to continuing our efforts to support the people of Sylhet and other vulnerable areas in Bangladesh, and we invite you to join us in this important mission.
